Girls Junior Varsity Volleyball, Girls Varsity Volleyball · Easton vs. Cabrini

The Lady Eagles volleyball team came up short yesterday losing a tough game to defending state runner up Cabrini 16 -25,17 – 25 and 17 – 25.  There were many high points in the game, starting with the 7 kills recorded by sophomore outside hitter Tailya Gray. She was followed in offensive production by fellow sophomore Demonye Hayes who contributed 4 kills of her own.  This increase in offensive production was made possible by the outstanding setting game of Makaya Taylor who turned in her best performance of the year.  Other players contributing were Alaysia Lee with a solo kill, a serving ace, and a block; and Taylor Simien with a serving ace.  This games blocking leader was Chauntis Gaspard with three blocks. Every member of the team made a positive contribution to yesterday’s game. The Lady Eagles will host Salmen Monday 10/24 for senior night starting with the JV game at 4:00 and the Varsity taking the court at 5:00.  Come out and support the Ladies in their final home game of the season and remember admission is only $2.00 with your student ID.
